About

I’ve always been very curious about holistic health and the creation of balance

in order to improve our abilities.

Early on

Holistic Health has always been a daily part of my life, from childhood to now. Being the daughter of a Homeopathic and Nutritionist Doctor, while being a Professional Dancer and later on, becoming an Actor, I have always been very curious about health and how all of our physical, mental, spiritual and energetic bodies work in order to improve our abilities.

I learned about Holistic Nutrition from an early age at home. For some time I assisted at my father’s clinic when I was in my teens. During all those years I deeply understood what a Holistic Therapist should be like and how Therapy was meant to help improve people’s health mainly by trusting our intuition and observing and hearing the functioning of their organism as a whole and not separately.

My career

This is why in 2011, I decided to train as a Nutritionist. First achieving my Higher Technician in Dietetics and Nutrition Degree, at the renowned Javeriana Professional School of Health in Madrid. My training was then completed at Elena Perea’s clinic, one of the most renowned Holistic and Orthomolecular Nutritionists in Spain, who leads the Advanced Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Madrid.
Later on, I received my Coaching qualification in Nutrition & Health as well as my Nutritional Therapy Diploma at Plaskett College of Nutrition in the United Kingdom.

I am currently part of the team at the Holistic Nutrition Institute of Madrid and tutor on their Coach in Nutrition course.

I’ve practiced 1 to 1 Consultancy at several Therapeutical centres like El Vergel, Instituto de Nutricion Holistica in Madrid, Natural Roots in Belfast and for Maikai in Gran Canaria.
I have delivered numerous workshops and Nutrition talks, collaborating with other colleagues and experts in Nutrition, based mainly in Madrid, Belfast and Gran Canaria. I also collaborate with the Organic Meeting Point brand, organising the nutrition field for their events.

How it works

My process begins with a careful look at your lifestyle choices, dietary needs, and discussion of areas you feel you want to improve. It might be areas such as illness, weight control, mental focus, improved emotional stability, anxiety reduction, or many more – what I have learned is that all these areas of our lives are deeply intertwined.

Sometimes medical care stops at treating the symptoms, rather than the underlying cause of an illness. In my process I want to walk with you to identify the deeper root cause, and address it at that level.

For that reason, I begin with addressing nutritional deficits, often in unexpected ways: for instance, did you know that gluten among other things can accumulate in the lining of your gut, and form a barrier that prevents nutrition from being absorbed? In that case, there’s little point increasing nutritional supplements, without first reducing or removing gluten from the diet. (Please note: this is just one example of an unexpected factor, rather than a universal rule applicable to everyone).

Over a three-month-period we will work together to keep you on track to meet your goals, through weekly 20 minute video calls. These are perfect opportunities to discuss your progress and make changes to improve the process as your mind and body respond to it.
